A couple of videos from people with hands-on experience, and clearly know what they're talking about. The most comprehensive video apparently, but completely in Japanese. The auto translate is sketchy at best, but it conveys the general idea. Prevents cavitation and foaming of the damping fluid, so more stable at high speeds etc. Also has some good graphics, pics and animation. Official Videos On first glance, this guy sounds like overconfident kid in class doing a book report thinking he knows everything there is to know about the book from talking to everyone around; but has never actually opened the book. But although there's not much technical information in these two videos below, zero mentions of the cavitation advantage, the guy actually explains the basic system and also mentions the most important advantage to be had from a more stable suspension: better traction.
